Wolverine Worldwide, a global organization with a large portfolio of footwear and lifestyle brands, has announced the appointment of a new chairman and additional members to its board of directors.
Brendan Long, who was previously serving as the lead independent director, has been named the new chairman.
He has a distinguished career, including leadership positions at MillerCoors, Miller Brewing Company, and Coca-Cola.
Long has been part of the board since 2011 and has played a crucial role in the company’s transformation.
The outgoing chairman, Blake Krueger, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the company for 30 years and is confident in the future success under Long’s leadership.
Additionally, Stacia Andersen, Jodi Bricker, and DeMonty Price have been appointed to the board, effective March 14.
However, David McCreight, a director since 2019, has announced his resignation, effective May 4, 2023.
