**VF Corp Appoints Gap Veteran as New Chief Human Resources Officer**

VF Corporation, the parent company of brands including The North Face, Vans, and Timberland, has appointed Karen Wood as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Wood joins VF Corp from Gap Inc., where she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Gap brand and its global divisions.

In her new role, Wood will be responsible for leading VF Corp’s global human resources strategy, including talent acquisition, development, and retention, as well as employee engagement and culture. She will also oversee the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Wood has over 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, including positions at Gap Inc., Levi Strauss & Co., and Limited Brands. She is known for her expertise in developing and implementing innovative HR programs and initiatives that drive business results.

Wood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a member of the Human Resources Leadership Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
