Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has appointed Humza Yousaf as the new Health Secretary, taking over from Jeane Freeman who announced she was standing down last week.
Yousaf, who is currently the Justice Secretary, will take up his new role on Tuesday, May 11. He is the first person from an ethnic minority to hold the position of Health Secretary in Scotland.
