His role as an executive director and COO of the fashion group remains unchanged.

Pak had become COO in September last year and became interim CEO only the following month. A lawyer by training, he’s also married to Chiu Christin Su Yi, the company’s chair.

A “seasoned executive with extensive operating and management experience”, he has over a decade of experience and had a successful career leading companies in the financial services and fund management industry. His industry expertise also includes technology, alternative energy, mining and real estate. 

Importantly, the company said that he’s “experienced in identifying and revitalising underperforming areas and driving favourable results while ensuring sustainable growth”.

The company has now seen several CEOs in the past 15 months with Anders Kristiansen having been replaced on January 1 2021 by Mark Daley. He in turn resigned from the firm last October “due to his personal family matters”.

The company’s restructuring continued while all this was happening, with the business in December saying it had been “revitalised” and had a “series of exciting developments in the pipeline”. It had brought a new product chief on board, and said it was “set to launch new capsule collections drawing on its rich history and brand heritage”.
