Just when you thought the sheer-dress trend was on the verge of collapse, it has simply expanded, proving that, sometimes, more is more. Musician Noah Cyrus arrived at Paris Fashion Week in a billowing black sheer dress, proving how versatile the style is. For instance, it can be done sexy…
…or elegant…
…or in Cyrus’s case, frilly, decadent, and glam, albeit a little shapeless. (She’s already done the sheer skintight thing, which I thought worked better, but it’s always good to change it up once in a while!)
I love a witchy moment as much as anyone. More, probably. And this—this is it. If I could make one tiny suggestion, it would be a sparkly purse to pick up on her bikini’s detailing, and also to give Cyrus somewhere to put her hands.
Cyrus donned this enormous piece of pleating at the Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week, and later followed it with another take on whimsigoth.
Patchwork! Moon! Pockets! TBH, I’m not totally sold on this dress on its own, but it’s so different from what most starlets are wearing these days that I have to give props. And oh, we love an outfit that tells you how to pose.
Noah Cyrus pulled off yet another quick change ahead of the Margiela show, slipping into something by Galliano that looks much warmer. Phases of the moon across her face? Yes, this woman definitely reads tarot on the tour bus.

What are we calling this style? Punk layers? Wearable sleeping bag? Billie Eilish already showed us how to take a literal blanket onto the red carpet, so more beddingcore can’t be far behind. With Eilish and other celebs embracing the goth girl trend this year, Cyrus should have plenty of style inspiration!
