We can always count on Nicola Coughlan to bring a memorable fashion moment to any red carpet.
For the British Academy Television Awards at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, May 8, the Bridgerton brought the drama with Valentino haute couture. The romantic floor-length gown is a bright fuchsia with a sheen. Large bows adorn the top of the fitted bodice, which features a single strap. The skirt billows away from the body and features a supersize ruffle at the hem.
Coughlan balanced the drama of the gown with her blonde shoulder-length hair parted to the side and worn sleek with soft waves. The actor went for dramatic black eyeliner with a peachy eye shadow, all brought together by a subtle berry lipstick. For accessories, she opted for silver earrings and a double finger ring with a dark blue manicure.

Coughlan’s voluminous pink gown is from Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s haute couture spring-summer 2022 collection. She posted the look to Instagram with a thank-you note to the fashion house, writing, “This beautiful haute couture gown is one of the most special things I’ve ever worn.”
Coming from an actor whose costumes routinely include Regency-era ball gowns, that’s really saying something.
