Kate Middleton’s style has arguably become more elevated since she took on her new royal title following Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September. But her habit of rewearing pieces from her own wardrobe has remained decidedly the same, as shown during her visit to Reading today, November 17.

For the engagement, the Princess of Wales sported a Max & Co. camel coat, which she previously wore just a couple of weeks ago while in Scarborough. Whereas the royal would previously space out her rewears, her wardrobe now appears to be in more frequent rotation–she repeated a number of her favorite pieces over the summer.

As the queen of diplomatic dressing, the princess paired her new autumn staple with a navy and yellow polka-dot dress from LK Bennett as she visited the city’s Ukrainian Community Centre in an apparent nod to the colors of that country’s flag. Earlier this year Kate wore a Ukrainian blue sweater by Alexander McQueen in support of the country. The princess met with Ukraine’s first lady, Olena Zelenska, in September, ahead of the queen’s funeral.

While we’ve seen subtle tweaks to her wardrobe in recent months, including an uptick in vintage, the foundations of Kate Middleton’s wardrobe have long remained the same: timeless staples combined with carefully thought-out pieces that send out a strong message. Long may it continue.
