Luciana Barroso—furniture designer as well as Matt Damon’s wife of nearly two decades—stepped out in the season’s hottest hue for the World’s Most Fascinating Dinner. With fellow celebrities such as Ludacris, Jeremy Allen White, and Zoe Saldaña, Barroso, wrapped in a bright red one-shouldered dress and strappy heels in a matching color, arrived at New York City’s Hall des Lumieres.
She finished the look with a swipe of red lipstick, tassel earrings, and a black clutch and had her hair pulled into an elegant chignon. Her Oppenheimer-star husband went for a monochromatic ensemble too, with a classic black suit, collarless black button-down, and black patent leather dress shoes.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen Luciana Barroso sport the fiery shade. Red appears to be her go-to for red-carpet appearances. She wore a floor-length red halter dress to the Oscars in 2016, a long-sleeve red sequined number to the premiere of Ford v Ferrari in 2019, and a strapless red gown to Venice Film Festival in 2017.
Damon originally met Barroso in 2003 while she was a single mother working as a bartender at a Miami nightclub. The two locked eyes from across the room, wed two years later, and the rest is history.
