Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are far from having a Cheaper by the Dozen, but they’ve certainly got their hands full with kids Kaavia, Zaya, Zaire, Xavier, and nephew Dahveon.
Proving that Kaavia is basically a mini version of the Bring It On, the mother and daughter duo had a matching moment on the red carpet while wearing a black-and-white patterned style from Altuzarra. Stylist Thomas Christos pulled a two-piece number for Union that features a long skirt and halter top with a midriff moment. Kaavia, meanwhile, twins with her mom in an identical patterned dress that also features a halter cut.
But aside from the matching moment, the Flawless by Gabrielle Union hair-care founder made the premiere of her new Disney+ movie Cheaper by the Dozen a full family event. Posting to her Instagram account, the actor tagged the location as “Family First” with the caption: “Family Over Everything. #CheaperByTheDozen.”

For her beauty moment, Union had her longtime hairstylist and hair-care brand partner Larry Sims perfect her bob using Flawless by Gabrielle Union—because, duh. Her makeup was done by Chanel makeup artist Tasha Reiko Brown.
Keeping with the black-and-white theme that Gabrielle and Kaavia have going on, her husband Dwayne is wearing selections from British luxury menswear brand Dun Hill. Zaya held her own stylewise too, wearing Maison Valentino.
The You Got Anything Stronger author stars alongside Scrubs actor Zach Braff in the second remake of the well-known Cheaper by the Dozen story, which features a large household discovering the meaning of family. (Steve Martin’s 2003 version was a remake of the 1950 original.) The new remake premieres on March 18 on Disney+. Watch the trailer, below:
