On Tuesday, April 26, Jennifer Lopez was photographed alongside fiancé Ben Affleck running errands in Los Angeles. The pair, who have been house hunting in recent weeks following news of their engagement, was spotted loading up the trunk of a Tesla with mysterious red road cases, which just so happened to match Lopez’s red handbag. Actually, I should say, Affleck was spotted carrying what appeared to be some hefty boxes, while Lopez gave him moral support simply by gracing him with her presence.
The couple sported his and hers graphic T-shirts—Lopez in a classic white tee with a Coca-Cola logo on the front, and Affleck in a maroon shirt featuring the phrase “THE DICKENS” along with a portrait of what I can only assume is the author himself.
Lopez swapped her skinny jeans for wide-leg distressed denim and finished off the look with spotless white sneakers, oversize platinum sunnies, and silver hoop earrings. This is the most casual we’ve seen J.Lo in recent days, following a trend of increasingly laidback street style looks. First she did a pair of basic black overalls (which she styled with stilettos), then a couple of belted tunic dresses (one with wedges, one with sneakers), and now she’s embraced the ultimate relaxed fit: jeans and a T-shirt.
The red, white, and blue look is giving Cindy Crawford in a ’90s ad for a competing soft drink company, which makes me wonder if Lopez has a new sponsorship up her sleeve. Although, Lopez has said herself that she doesn’t drink caffeine (or alcohol)…but the details aren’t important.
