Florence Pugh has already given us one of the fashion moments of 2022 (that? We’ll never recover), but now she’s proved that she’s all of us when letting loose at a festival with friends too.
In her latest Instagram snap, she’s frolicking in none other than a hot pink bodysuit, bikini, and platform boots, plus the ultimate festival accessories: a flower crown and a pair of heart-shaped sunnies. Of course.
The actor even hinted at her Midsommar character, Dani, in her caption, though hopefully her festival experience was dramatically different from the cult horror movie. “Grab your friend, grab a field, frolic in pink and sing stupid silliness,” she wrote, adding, “And also put a shitload of flowers in your hair like Dani did.”

As if we needed another reason to love Florence Pugh and her style. This girl can rock couture on the red carpet and stay candid in her comfy clothes on Instagram—and now we learn she’s got a raver girl side too.
“Florence Pugh you own the color pink,” one fan responded to her outfit, with another replying: “Pink is your color.”
It’s true: Florence has been having a bit of a moment in fuchsia pink lately. There was the Versace minidress worn in Paris for the Black Widow promo tour, followed by her sheer Valentino moment at the fashion house’s haute couture show in Rome, as seen below. And now this.
After her Valentino dress sparked headlines for showing her nipples, Pugh spoke out on her empowering outfit choice. “Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it. Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing. I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn’t before, during or even now after,” she began.
“What’s been interesting to watch, and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see. You even do it with your job titles and work emails in your bio..?
“What’s worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be. Thankfully, I’ve come to terms with the intricacies of my body that make me, me. I’m happy with all of the ‘flaws’ that I couldn’t bear to look at when I was 14. So many of you wanted to aggressively let me know how disappointed you were by my ‘tiny tits’ or how I should be embarrassed by being so ‘flat chested.’ I’ve lived in my body for a long time. I’m fully aware of my breast size and am not scared of it.”
She added, “What’s more concerning is…. Why are you so scared of breasts? Small? Large? Left? Right? Only one? Maybe none? What. Is. So. Terrifying. It makes me wonder what happened to you to be so content on being so loudly upset by the size of my boobs and body..?”
We adore you, Florence Pugh. Next up, the world premieres and press tours for her much-anticipated film Don’t Worry Darling, costarring Harry Styles. The ’fits will be epic, no doubt…
