Arc’teryx Veilance debuts spring/summer womenswear collection
Veilance, founded by Arc’teryx in 2009, is continuing its foray into womenswear with the launch of its debut Spring/Summer 2022 women’s collection, the brand’s sophomore foray into womenswear from creative director, Taka Kasuga.
Following the debut of Veilance women’s in September 2021, Veilance’s first-ever Spring/Summer pieces aim to create the ultimate city traversing uniform with staple silhouettes re-considered through a technical lens.
Characterized by a black, crater and lilac sky color palette, the collection consists of 15 apparel and accessory pieces that utilize the lightest and most breathable materials. The collection was designed to adapt to city elements that work with the season.
In particular, it features the Logen LT Short, a high-waisted, wide-leg short with a long inseam and refined fit, and the Focal LT Jacket, an oversized waist-length jacket for light, breathable wind and weather protection. The Demlo Blouse is a light, breathable top with distinct oversized structure that offers a clean design in distinctive gridded ripstop, among other pieces.
The collection is available in Arc’teryx stores, and partnered global retailers in North America, Europe and Asia.
The North Vancouver-based company, which specializes in technical high-performance apparel and equipment, has grown in recent years and is currently executing plans to open more stores in Canada and across the U.S. in 2022.
