As detailed by direct sources from the brand, this inauguration represents the consolidation of Mango’s presence in the African continent, where the firm has already nearly 60 points of sale in 13 countries, including South Africa, Angola, Kenya, Egypt, and Nigeria. The Barcelona-based fashion company founded in 1984 is also currently present in 110 countries around the world.
In its last fiscal year, Mango’s sales decreased by 22.4% to €1.842 billion. Throughout this period, the online channel accounted for 42% of turnover to €766 million. During the first half of 2021, online sales increased by 37% compared to the first six months of the previous year.
