Noah Cyrus is pulling out all the stops fashionwise these days. On February 2, the 23-year-old shared a photo of her outrageously avant-garde getup in Paris. Maybe it’s a coat, maybe it’s a dress, or maybe…a stack of tires? Unclear.
The conversation piece is a creation by Colors that enveloped the “July” singer in rows of black, puffy rings. The puffer piece is floor-length and has openings on either side for Cyrus to put her sheer-gloved hands through. She also wore a matching halo-like hat made of the same puffy fabric as her dress. Despite the outfit’s full coverage, Cyrus’s waist tattoo discretely peeked through the openings at her side. The tattoos on her shoulders were also visible in the spots her headpiece did not cover. The large diamond ring on the singer’s finger gave the all-black-everything ’fit a bit of sparkle.
Fans on the internet were curious about her fashion choice, some poking lighthearted fun. “It’s giving stack of tires, but in a slay way of course,” one fan commented. Another added, “Michelin man slay.”
The oddity of Cyrus’s fashion is par for the course at Paris Fashion Week, which took place last week. She sported many unusual looks at Paris’s most fashionable events, including a Colors beige two-piece that included flared, puffy leg warmers and an equally puffy skirt to match—no shirt, only her long, black hair covering her chest. Another look included a sheer black dress with a sparkly bikini shimmering beneath the flowy fabric.
Noah Cyrus has more on her plate than Fashion Week slays. In September 2022, Cyrus released her debut album, The Hardest Part, which she took on tour through the United States. She’s set to perform at the Beach Life Festival in May.
