Thanksgiving is not until tomorrow, but according to Gabrielle Union, the holidays are here (and have been here all week).
The 50-year-old actor, who is promoting her new Disney animated movie Strange World, wore a festive look in New York City on November 21 for an appearance on Good Morning America. She wore a sleeveless Loewe dress with diagonal white and red stripes—it’s giving candy cane—and a plunging neckline. The hem of the dress, which fell just below the knee, was adorned with three-dimensional balls in the same pattern as the dress. Think big dress ornaments, or a literal bubble hem.
Union paired the fun fit with lime green peep-toe heels, a little nod to the Grinch, perhaps. She wore her hair sleek, straight, and shoulder-length. See the full look here:
On November 23, Union wore a very different, more subdued look for an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Ryan. Under a long black leather coat with fleece trim, Union wore a short-sleeved black dress with a sweetheart neckline and floral appliqués. See it here:
On GMA, Union said that she and husband Dwyane Wade are hosting 50 people for Thanksgiving this year. “He turns it into, like, the Budweiser super fest. I just show up,” she said. “I think we’re at, like, 50 people now?”
Strange World hits theaters November 23 and, along with Union, features the voices of Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White, and Lucy Liu.
