Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck—a.k.a. Bennifer—sent the internet into a frenzy over the weekend after news broke that they’d married in Las Vegas. J.Lo shared details of her intimate wedding day via her “On the JLo” newsletter, including exclusive photos of her bridal looks. “We read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” she wrote.
For part of the celebrations, Jennifer Lopez wore a textured sleeveless dress that she revealed was “from an old movie”—her take on the “something old” bridal tradition, complete with her signature bouncy waves and a smoky make-up look.
The pièce de résistance, however, came courtesy of Zuhair Murad, the Lebanese couturier behind the embellished gown she wore in the rom-com Marry Me. The singer chose a similarly elegant gown for her own wedding day: an off-the-shoulder corseted dress with delicate lace sleeves and a sweetheart-neckline that she wore with a veil.
According to “On the JLo,” Ben wore a jacket from his own wardrobe for the ceremony, and the couple was surrounded by the “best witnesses you could ever imagine.” The announcement comes just months after they rekindled their well-documented romance, and got engaged for a second time in April (they called the first off in 2002). This time around Affleck proposed with an 8.5-carat green diamond ring, flanked by sparkling white diamonds.
