As sheer dresses and corsets take over the red carpets in 2022, Kylie Jenner has figured out that the next obvious move is see-through pants.
The reality star showed up to the recent press day for her family’s upcoming Hulu series, The Kardashians, in a power suit that checks all the boxes of this year’s favorite trends. Jenner’s white Isidora Djurovic suit takes the oversized-blazer-and-no shirt approach and combines it with wide-leg pants made out of an almost completely sheer material. Jenner completed the look with loose, lengthy waves and a—gasp—side part. I guess it really is the dawn of the Y2K renaissance.
As for jewelry, she kept her neck bare, opting for some silver rings to complement the blazer’s unique key clasp. See the full ensemble, here:

Of course, Kylie Jenner is not the first member of the Kardashian clan to pull off pants that are only sorta pants this week. On April 5, Kim Kardashian had a mini bathroom photoshoot of her own in the “most shredded pair of jeans” Glamour writer Carrie Wittmer has ever seen.
Those high-waist torn-up skinny jeans extended all the way down to Kardashian’s toes and were seemingly secured by a lace-up side panel and a prayer. She paired the look with an asymmetrical reptile corset and a slicked-back ponytail. “Talk less and say more,” she captioned the post.

If you’re as obsessed with red-carpet fashion as I am, you’ll notice that this glass purse with horn details by Coperni was recently carried by Doja Cat at the 2022 Grammys. This was actually the Grammy winner’s second glass bag of the night. The first was an ombré blue piece by the same designer, which she filled with gold-wrapped candies.
While Jenner did not fill her bag with edible treats, she did carry around a couple of cute pink products by Kylie Cosmetics. Anyway, if see-through everything is truly the moment, I vote we bring back those clear house phones with the colorful gears and wires next. The girls that get it, get it.
