Stylist Kate Young was tasked with curating Jennifer Lawrence’s London wardrobe this week—and, as ever, she delivered. In a single day, on October 8, Lawrence wore three head-turning looks.
The star took to the stage to give a Q&A at the BFI Film Festival in smart staples from The Row, a brand she regularly turns to for elevated basics and accessories, worn with heels from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s collaboration with Gia Borghini. Outside the venue, she wore ’90s-inspired oval sunglasses that added to the retro appeal. Take a look:
For Lawrence’s red-carpet moment later that day, Young consulted the recent spring-summer 2023 runways and chose a new-season look from Del Core’s recent collection: a black column gown with a fishnet overlay scattered with pearls and beading, complete with simple Gianvito Rossi heels and pearl drop earrings from Sidney Garber. The brand is a departure from the Dior ambassador and The Row fan’s usual roster of favorite labels.
The actor went on to change once again, though. She picked a simple LBD from The Row, which was styled with a velvet clutch and the same sandals—and earrings—that she wore on the red carpet earlier in the evening.
Young was, of course, responsible for the statement looks that Lawrence wore while pregnant at the end of last year, including the radiant embellished Dior gown at the premiere of and the polka-dot Oscar de la Renta number on . Since the actor welcomed her first child, Young has helped shape Jennifer Lawrence’s style and made her one to watch on the fashion circuit.
