Perry Ellis launches ‘eco denim’ collections with Recover
Global lifestyle brand Perry Ellis
The spring capsule collection launches with ten styles of men’s denim pants. Each piece in the collection contains 20% Recover recycled cotton fiber from textile waste. This integration significantly reduces the environmental impact associated with the production of these garments. Meanwhile, the entire collection, available solely on PerryEllis.com, has been manufactured by Recover’s vertically integrated strategic partner, ADM.
Recover is a leading materials science company and global producer of low-impact, high-quality recycled cotton fiber and cotton fiber blends. By collaborating with Recover, Perry Ellis is taking a significant step towards making circular fashion more accessible to consumers. This collaboration underscores Perry Ellis’ commitment to innovation and positions them as a forward-thinking brand that places sustainability at the forefront.
“This partnership underscores our dedication to collaborating on sustainability solutions. By incorporating Recover fiber into our product design, we can offer our consumers high-quality garments that help reduce our fashion carbon footprint,” said Oscar Feldenkreis, CEO and president.
Alfredo Ferre, CEO, Recover added: “We are delighted to collaborate with the iconic brand Perry Ellis and support them on their sustainable journey. As the ingredient brand of reference in recycled cotton, we show once again with this collection that style and sustainability are definitely a perfect match.”
