Boho dresses defined Sienna Miller’s red-carpet style in the aughts, and on Thursday night, at the Prince’s Trust Gala in New York, the actor paid homage to her early-2000s wardrobe in a glittering slip, which was completely sheer save for some sparkling floral embellishments.
The star amped up the boho appeal with her beauty look, and wore her signature shiny blonde hair in a tousled middle part, with subtle eyeliner and a rosy lip. To complement the embellishments on her dress, she also wore bejeweled drop earrings and Louboutin mules.
The sheer Fendi slip dress called to mind the ruffled Alexander McQueen look she wore to the BAFTAs in 2005, as well as the Alessandra Rich design she selected for the National Board of Review Gala earlier this year.
The latest dress hails from Kim Jones’s spring-summer 2023 couture collection for Fendi, worn by Steinberg, who closed the show. “I want to do lightness because, for me, couture always seems quite staid and heavy,” Jones said of the overall mood of his ethereal showcase. “I wanted a floaty-ness. Elegant but youthful.” Sienna Miller makes for the perfect muse.
