Gigi Hadid served sparkle and serious color with her recent London ‘fit. Appearing at the Vogue x Self-Portrait party on Wednesday, the model sported a monochromatic look in a summer-approved shade of neon.
Barbiecore pink might be all the rage lately, but Gigi made the case for neon green in her glittery Self-Portrait gown. The long-sleeve dress was adorned in tiny sparkly details, and she coordinated the dress with her choice of matching accessories. Posing for a few photos at the event, Gigi showed off her green micro bag, also from Self-Portrait, and green metallic heels.
She kept the trendy, fun vibes going with an updo. Her blonde hair was pulled up in a top knot, and two pieces of hair were left out to frame her face. Gigi’s glam was the focus of this Instagram selfie, which showcased her blonde hair and glowy makeup.
As per an Instagram post, Gigi’s ‘fit was put together by stylist Mimi Cuttrell. Hairstylist Sam McKnight handled the updo. In an accompanying reel, he revealed his vintage inspiration, writing, “A twist on the 90s.” Sofia Tilbury created the glam.
We can definitely see the ‘90s inspo with Gigi’s look, and this wasn’t the first time the model had some fun with color. Back in April, she unveiled her take on the Barbiecore trend, wearing a monochromatic pink ‘fit that also included a tiny handbag. Her shoes were a bit more dramatic, with platform heels in a neon pink that also matched her dress.
We’ll have to wait and see whether lime green ends up dethroning Barbie pink as the summer’s it shade, but Gigi Hadid wasn’t the only celeb to sport some neon recently. Megan Fox wore a green halter top and matching pants, and Megan Thee Stallion sported a bright green hue too.
