Forget all the citrus-themed trends taking over your summer Pinterest boards, Kendall Jenner is going full cucumber.
On August 19 Jenner shared a series of photos from a recent party for her 818 Tequila brand wearing a vaguely green asymmetrical bodycon dress over nude lingerie. I use the term vaguely because the mesh ensemble was so sheer you could only catch a glimpse of color where the fabric bunched up around her waist and legs. She paired the one-shoulder look with white Gucci flats and a Gucci shoulder bag with forest and neon green accents.
Though one might be tempted to group Jenner’s party look with the lime girl aesthetic, I’d argue the dress more closely mimics a thinly sliced cucumber. Kendall Jenner may not have a lot of first-hand experience, but the girls that get it, get it.
It’s likely Kendall Jenner fully intended to invoke thoughts of cucumbers (and cucumber cocktails) with her latest look. Back in May 2022, Jenner went viral for attempting to chop a cucumber as a snack during an episode of The Kardashians, a process she described as “pretty easy” despite clearly having no idea what she was doing.

She later poked fun at the entire situation by recreating the moment in an ad for Uber Eats Australia, eventually asking Kris Jenner to order “something easier to cut.”

Of course, no matter what food group the dress belongs to, the 27-year-old model looks pretty damn flawless. “If I wasn’t related to you, I would think you were an AI,” sister Khloé Kardashian commented on the Instagram dump, which also featured a photo of a cocktail garnished with a cucumber slice. Cheeky.
