Regardless of how you feel about Julia Fox’s taste in fashion, you must respect her consistency. No one brings more drama than Ms. Fox.
The actor and podcast host stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening in a look that’s equal parts Austin Powers romantic lead and sci-fi heroine, with just a hint of “Oops!…I Did It Again.”
Fox wore a single-sleeve cherry red latex top, graphic low-rise maxi skirt, and matching red stiletto booties. And don’t forget the accessory: The 32-year-old finished the look with a miniature red leather shopping bag featuring an NSFW photo plastered on the front.
The pattern on her skirt is a bit difficult to make out, but it appears to be some kind of space scene. A Mars landing perhaps? The high-contrast colors and pops of red have the same sheen as every space movie from the early ’00s (Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century specifically), as well as Britney Spears’s iconic video.
Fox chose a flippy side part and natural makeup to round out the look.
The outfit is definitely a departure from Fox’s bra top and low-rise jeans uniform, which the actor has been reaching for recently. It’s also more color than we’ve seen on the actor, who tends to gravitate toward black, gray, and denim.
