Bridal is still having a moment on the red carpet, and I, for one, love to see it. Salma Hayek Pinault’s minimalist draped column dress should be added to everyone’s wedding inspo Pinterest boards immediately.
The Mexican actor attended the El Sabor de la Navidad premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on September 13 (reportedly with permission from SAG-AFTRA) wearing a figure-hugging full-length gown in pure white. The sleeveless crewneck dress also features some simple draping around the waistline leading to a short train, which gives it a goddess effect and makes Hayek Pinault look literally divine. Done incorrectly, this look has the potential to skew Disney Hercules muse, but she just looks angelic.
Hayek Pinault kept her styling as minimal as the dress itself. She wore her hair straight and loose with a center part and kept her makeup a soft glam. In her hand she carried a sea foam green beaded baguette clutch.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the carpet, Salma Hayek Pinault said the secret to looking as good as she does is just meditation. “I really believe it is,” she said. “People say it’s exercising. I think it’s meditation. You have to find your way. For me, exercising is hard…. It’s really, really difficult to have the discipline to do it. But meditation is a walk in the park, because it’s my own form of it.”
