Who knew a plunging neckline could be this plunging?
For the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 15, actor and singer Dove Cameron wore a red gown with an extreme plunging neckline. Or, in this case, maybe a torso cutout is a better way to phrase it. Her strapless dress, which is from Ashlyn, opens at the chest and doesn’t close until well below the waist. A nude bustier with boning is visible from underneath the gown, covering the exposed chest and torso areas. The dress has a romantic skirt that accentuates the hips and gets lighter toward the bottom.
Cameron styled the dramatic look simply, with no jewelry. The Descendants wore her dark brown hair down and sleek with a middle part. For makeup, she went for a winged eyeliner and rosy cheeks that matched her rosy neutral glossy lip color.

“Sometimes she femme,” Cameron captioned a series of photos from the night that she posted on Instagram.
In February, Dove Cameron released the song “Boyfriend,” which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. She was also among the 160 artists who teamed up with Planned Parenthood to sign an ad that ran in The New York Times in support of abortion rights. “We are the new generation stepping into our power,” read the ad. “Now we are being robbed of our power. We will not go back—and we will not back down.”
