Another day, another TikTok beauty hack to add to your arsenal of tips — especially if you often deal with creasing under-eye concealer.
Beauty blogger Sarah Galyean shared her routine for perfect under-eyes with no creasing and it even got the stamp of approval from beauty icon Mikayla Nogueira. When a commenter noted that Sarah’s under-eyes were “flawless,” she took to TikTok to share her secrets. “There’s not a lot that I have figured out in this life, but the one thing that I have a grip on is how to conceal my under-eyes,” she says in the video.
To start, Sarah swipes the e.l.f. Prep & Hydrate Balm under her eyes, noting that she doesn’t use it anywhere else because she has oily skin. Once she’s prepped, she uses the pink L.A. Girl HD Pro.Conceal, but advises you to start sparingly. “Do not go in and gob this on,” she says, adding that you should use your fingers and not sponges or brushes for this look. “Use the tools that God gave you.” Sarah applies a bit of concealer on her fingertips, warms it up, and taps it where she gets dark spots, starting on her inner corners.

It’s all in the tap. “Tap it out. You should look crazy. That’s how you know you did it right,” she advises. Sarah then applies her concealer on top and taps that in with her fingers, noting that you may be tempted to use a sponge but stay strong and use your fingers! The final touch is a bit of lavender powder from Jacyln Cosmetics and voilà — bright, creaseless under-eyes in just a few simple steps!
TikTok has become a beauty destination for all types of makeup tips and hacks, with Selena Gomez dropping her skin care routine and other users trying calamine lotion as primer. The under-eyes have had a few moments in the spotlight; we’ve also seen blush as under-eye primer, to surprisingly pretty results, so if you’re looking for new ways to conceal and brighten your under-eye area, get scrolling!
