Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens said their “I do’s” for a second time on May 6.
Over the weekend, the Olympic gymnast and the NFL football player exchanged handwritten vows in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, surrounded by 8 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, and 140 guests. Biles walked down the aisle wearing a sheer corset gown with floral embellishments by designer Galia Lahav, which the 26-year-old bride says she “found in the DMs,” just like she found her husband, whom she connected with on the celebrity dating app Raya back in 2020.
“I think this is exactly how brides are supposed to feel,” Biles said in a from her final dress fitting. “Luxurious, beautiful, kind of on top of the world.”
Overall, Biles purchased four different dresses for her destination wedding. “Kind of dramatic but you only have a wedding once,” she told fans during an Instagram Q+A last month. “We went so over budget that we decided there is no longer a budget.”

You can see photos from Biles’s actual wedding day here. Personally, I can’t wait to see even more pics from their destination celebration—and catch a glimpse at the rest of those dresses.
For legal reasons, the pair held an intimate Texas courthouse wedding on April 22. At the time, Simone Biles shared stunning photos from the small ceremony on Instagram, later revealing to fans that she pulled her wedding look together in just one week—and on an actual budget. Biles wore a sheer, tiered gown from Selfie Leslie, which retailed for $120, and a pair of strappy sandals from Pretty Little Thing. “Everything was ordered this week,” Biles wrote on Instagram Stories. “Dress. Wedding bands. Shoes. Bouquet.” (They saved their real wedding bands for Mexico.)

“I do 🤍 officially Owens 🤍,” she captioned the pics, which were taken by Houston-based photographer Rachel Taylor.
Owens replied, “Wifey got a great ring to it ❤️💍 First day of forever 🤞🏽.” The football player also shared his own Instagram post with the caption, “My person, forever ❤️💍. #TheOwens.”
