Ben Affleck presented Jennifer Lopez with a pink Harry Winston diamond when he proposed to her the first time in 2002. When the couple reunited two decades later, he managed to outdo even that with a rare green diamond sourced by Ilan Portugali of Beverly Hills Diamonds and designed by Tamara Rahaminov and Nicol Goldfiner of Rahaminov Diamonds.
After getting hitched in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony, Bennifer exchanged vows over the weekend in a formal celebration held at the groom’s sprawling estate in Riceboro, Georgia. Lopez accessorized her trio of custom Ralph Lauren gowns with still more mesmerizing jewelry, including diamonds that complemented—but didn’t compete with—her spectacular engagement ring.
To walk down the aisle, which was decorated with romantic delphiniums, Lopez wore a figure-skimming white gown with a ruffled skirt made from 1,000 handkerchiefs. The singer wore Mikimoto’s classic white South Sea cultured pearl drop earrings flanked by diamonds set in platinum as well as a ring featuring the same diamonds and a central South Sea pearl.

After the ceremony, Jennifer Lopez changed into another head-turning Ralph Lauren gown dripping with strands of pearls, worn with Mikimoto pearl and diamond studs. Pearls, which played a central role in Lopez’s bridal looks, symbolize calmness, integrity, loyalty, purity, and serenity, but also wisdom—and particularly wisdom gained through experience. A fitting sentiment for a couple who found each other once again decades after they first fell in love.
Later on, the bride changed once again: For the after-party soundtracked by DJ Dubz, she danced in a sculptural mermaid dress embellished with Swarovski crystals at the back and a keyhole cut-out on the chest. Striking flower drop earrings featuring marquise and pear-cut diamonds by Samer Halimeh (worth a reported $2 million) added to the sparkle. Jennifer certainly delivered the drama—and sparkle—the world expected on her wedding day.
