Man City’s Nathan Aké and Nike Underwear launch SS23 collection
Footballer Nathan Aké has joined the roster of sportsmen for the Nike
The Manchester City and Netherlands star debuts with the new collection that has been curated for athletes and is “designed to ensure maximum manoeuvrability and comfort pre, during and post workout”.
The new Dri-Fit ADV Essential Micro, we’re told, addresses the “emerging need for enhanced breathability, comfort and sweat-wicking fabric”.
Its technology combines moisture-wicking fabric with advanced engineering and is billed as the most breathable product within the underwear collection, “keeping fitness enthusiasts feeling cool, dry and comfortable throughout the day”.
The collection has all-new colourways and is made from at least 75% recycled materials. Other features include wide hems that keep underwear in place and flat seams to ensure the product feels smooth against the wearer’s skin.
In the UK, Nike Underwear Dri-Fit ADV (three-pack) starts from £38, and is now available from the JD Sports
Footballers continue to be hugely popular as brand faces and Nike’s link with Manchester City seems to be a successful one. Aké maintains the brand/club alliance as he follows neatly on from teammate Rúben Dias who presented the sportwear giant’s AW22 underwear campaign.
