Nike appoints two new board members

A media veteran, Gil is chief administrative and marketing officer of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. In this role, she leads the company’s brand development, digital marketing, and multichannel creative efforts, and has overseen numerous marketing and brand campaigns across Telemundo’s broadcast, cable, and digital properties, including Telemundo’s broadcast of the 2018 FIFA World Cup
Prior to this, she served in several leadership roles at Nielsen.
Swan is an operating partner at Andreessen Horowitz and former CEO of Intel Corporation, where he advises growth-stage portfolio companies in scaling their business. Prior to joining the firm, he was CEO of Intel.

In its most recent trading update, Nike reported fourth-quarter revenue of $12.23 billion, beating estimates of $12.06 billion, according to IBES data from Refinitiv. However, net income fell to $1.44 billion, or 90 cents per share, in the quarter ended May 31, from $1.51 billion, or 93 cents per share, a year earlier.
